FATCA Programme Manager recruitment

Global Asset Management company based in the West End requires a FATCA programme manager to bring subject matter expertise and planning capabilities together to support the cross functional programme of work.

Key to performing this role is a good understanding of the data availability and change processes in order to support FATCA and other regulatory programmes.

Candidates will be required to have a good working knowledge of FATCA to input to operating model discussions and will be expected to actively lead and manage the planning process and undertake on-going prioritisation, management of risk and issues and dependency management in order to be successful in this role.

The role is required to ensure that, globally and locally, there are detailed plans in place which the person performing the role is able to draw upon to ensure that FATCA is delivered effectively and group timelines and milestones are respected. This individual will have a high degree of contact with location SMEs to assist them in planning and risk and issue

Key accountabilities:-

To implement Infrastructure changes, review efficiencies and oversee/progress report on a portfolio of transformation projects within the Asset Management business, As part of programme delivery to:
-Lead the technology and business model changes required to implement FATCA and other regulatory processes.
-Manage the IT project team delivery members and evaluate the key delivery stages according to any agreed baseined plans, leading solution based discussions tom mitigate risks and resolve issues
-Project Manage business change and re-engineering initiatives as required.
-Drive the organisation, engaging with key stakeholders, defining the strategic projects associated with re-engineering of the business and organize an appropriate delivery governance.
-When making changes, develop a detailed TOM for the business supported with relevant Organisation Design
-Input to the annual sales ROP planning process
-Work closely with the operational groups to drive consistency, control and best practice across the regions.
-Set up programme reporting on the AMG portfolio of projects - provide appropriate management of the portfolio to ensure core deliverables and associated outcomes are achieved for the business.
-Develop and communicate the Global Infrastructure Strategy aligning all the activities outlined above (TOM, OD, Projects) and how the efficiencies will be unlocked and a sustainable support to business growth assured.
-Build strong relationships with, and influence, senior stakeholders whilst knowing when it is appropriate to flex or stand firm on critical issues.

Key experience:-

In addition to a good knowledge of FATCA regulation, you should display:
-A roven track record of leading the design, development and delivery of business based projects, across geographies, timezones and with multiple stakeholders
-An understanding of the asset management business and b2b sales model
-An individual with a high client centric approach, ideally with prior client management experience
-Confidence and track record in building solid working relationships with key stakeholders, securing project resources or priorities from them through persuasion and influence rather than necessarily authority.
-An ability to support decisions with sound reasoning. Ability to clearly articulate business and regulatory implications of analysis and findings.
-Be a self starter with proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and who can influence and motivate people around them.
-Good presentation skills Problem solver
