Accenture's Data Center Technologies Operations (DCTO) practice helps organizations work through complex business and technology issues to provide innovative and holistic approaches for dynamic technology upgrades. DCTO works to transform the way Government works within the Technology arena by accelerating best practices. Our DCTO professionals bring deep technology skills and industry knowledge to any organization and work closely with clients to design and implement technology solution.
Job Description:
This position will focus on delivering projects in the field of platform technologies, including data center rationalization, server, storage, and/or Oracle. As a part of platform technology specialty within Accenture, these individuals will possess skills in data center operational technologies ranging from technical skills such as operating systems and server/storage hardware to business effectiveness skills such as establishing total cost of ownership (TCO) models for data centers and developing a business case for cost saving opportunities. 100% travel requirement.
Basic Qualifications:
• 1 year of professional experience in one or more of the following areas of IT Infrastructure:
o data center rationalization, consolidation, relocation, migration, or virtualization projects.
o storage technologies (EMC / Network Appliance / Hitachi Data Systems / IBM / HP / Dell / Oracle), including administration and/or architecture.
o virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix Xen, Hyper-V, LPARs, VPARs, Logical Domains, Zones, and/or Containers).
o server technologies (Windows, UNIX, Linux, and/or Solaris), including administration and/or architecture.
o Oracle databases.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
