Job Description: The Fee Revenue Technician is primarily responsible for assisting the Fee and Revenue Analysts. Assists with the determination of Clinic and Hospital charges for all services and procedures. Assists with the production of annual billing fee schedules and charge masters and other related business office publications. Assists with researching and analyzing new and existing services/procedures to recommend the appropriate CPT codes and fees to maximize reimbursement and ensure regulatory compliance and system efficiencies as requested by Clinic and/or Hospital personnel and/or administration. All recommendations will be made to the supervisor in compliance with the Clinic/Hospital fee change policy. Basic Qualifications: Training/knowledge in medical terminology. RHIT, CCS, or RHIA credentials preferred.Two or more years experience working in a clinic or hospital environment preferred. One or more years experience in CPT and ICD-9-CM coding. Additional training in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Other Qualifications: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Excellent presentation, inter-personal, and listening skills. Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy. Ability to operate all office equipment. Ability to work on more than one task at a time. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively in a team setting. Ability to format and edit documents. Benefit Eligible: Yes Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Hours/Pay Period: Full time 80 hours per pay period Schedule Details: Monday - Friday 8:00 am -4:30 pm Weekend Schedule: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
