QP/Shell Petrochemical project is a joint project between QP and Shell to develop a new JV petrochemical complex at Ras Laffan (80% QP / 20 % Shell) to add value to ethane and Propane from North Field and ensure optimum utilization of Qatar's hydrocarbon resources. As a globally-advantaged petrochemical growth platform in Ras Laffan Industrial City the project is set for mechanical completion by Q2 2016 with start-up by end of Q3 2016. The project configuration as the base case is mixed feed cracker and aiming for production of Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG), Linear Alpha Olefins, and Propylene based OXO Alcohols.

The Feedstock Coordinator is responsible for coordination of availability and supply of feedstock to the project's from the stage of planning, definition and implementation. Accountable for the fitness of technical aspects of the feedstock supply arrangement in coordination with suppliers and coordinators. Interface plans and issues with external organizations (e.g. other projects/JV's at the site). Provide short term and long term forecast on the feedstock supply to all projects. Evaluate feedstock utilization of new and existing projects. Participate in the negotiation of relevant feed stock agreements of technical and commercial (in collaboration with other relevant QP departments eg. downstream, evaluation, project finance, legal finance etc). Manage feedstock related issues on the logistic, integration, off-sites and utilities projects under his responsibility in technical, project controls and commercial areas.

Perfil desejado:

Ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Petroleum/Chemical Engineering or similar from a reputable international institution is a must. Higher qualification (M.Sc/MBA) is preferred to embrace the commercial dimension and job complexity. Previous experience on management of feedstock and its logistics for multi users/project in the olefins, polyolefins, aromatics and derivatives or petrochemical industry or better yet, in an integrated petrochemical facility/company and Project management; professional experience in international business development and downstream ventures in a senior position. Should possess sound technical and procedural knowledge about the utilities and off-sites.
