FFS Operator I / 3312 Job in Irvine 92614, California US
Position Description:
We are seeking a FFS Operator I for our swing shift (Hours: 1:30pm - 10:00pm Work days: Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun)who under the direction of the Supervisor/Lead person will attend to the FFS machines. Responsibilities include minor troubleshooting, machine setup, cleaning, and assisting with preventative maintenance. Clears jams and feeding problems. Mounts fill and foil as needed. Assists mechanic when necessary. Performs housekeeping duties. Tracks production performance factors such as raw material usage, reject scrap rate and machine downtime. Enter data into CIM.
1.Perform basic adjustments, setups, production changeovers and cleaning of FFS machines.
2.Keep equipment clean and clear of blockages to keep machine running.
3.Notify lead/supervisor of any problems.
4.Work in other areas as needed.
5.Maintain work areas as needed.
6.Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
7.Adhere to all safety and good manufacturing procedures.
8.Comply with all departmental and company policies and procedures.
9.Measure, inspect and document information related to production batch records.
10.Perform material handling functions related to the operation as needed.
11.Enter all filling information into the CIM system.
To qualify for this position you are required to pass SAT Level II test with a minimum score of 7th grade english comprehension and 6th grade math skills. High school education or equivalent required. Up to and including four weeks on the job training. Required knowledge of Excel, Filling, Overwrap and Packaging. Ability to read, write and understand job language in English. Ability to carry out simple, specific verbal instructions and/or read simple signs, gauges or meters. Ability to react quickly to malfunctions.
