FI Relationship Manager
Role Purpose
* Manage relationships with UK and European Financial Institutions;
* Market the bank's clearing capacity in London;
* Establish relationships with current non-relationship banks;
* Grow relationships with current relationship banks.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
* Acting as the lead contact on the accounts of Financial Institutions;
* Prospecting for, engaging and closing new Financial Institution business with UK, European and Chinese Financial Institutions;
* Persuade financial institutions to place their clearing needs into the hands of the bank;
* Producing profitable new FI business to the revenue-generating areas;
* Liaising with revenue-generating areas so as to target correct counterparties;
* Liaising with senior management, risk and compliance so as to ascertain that potential clients are strategically suitable;
* Matching the requirements of the bank to those of the FI counterparties in the full variety of products and services;
* Provide management information on a regular and as-and-when needed basis;
* Other ad hoc as requested and any other duties that are assigned as part of the growing business.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Degree in finance, business administration and marketing;
* Knowledge of the FI space;
* Fluency in English is essential;
* Ability to speak Mandarin is essential;
* Relevant institutional sales experience ;
* Experience in finance, business administration and marketing;
* Customer-minded, motivated, committed and presentable
* Must be a team player capable of working across departmental boundaries;
* Compliance and Regulation conversant
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
