The business consists of 100+ professionals across London, Zurich, New York, Houston, Calgary, Hong Kong and Singapore. The group provides clients with the ability to mitigate or gain exposure to commodity risk. The client base includes consumers, producers, refiners, merchants, hedge funds, asset manager, endowments and governments and utilizes a full product suite from listed products through to customized derivatives.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will cover corporate accounts to help maintain and develop relationships, provide strategies and research, and generate revenues by selling the firm’s Commodity risk management products and services, specifically in energy. He or she will work alongside the Senior Sales Team in building and maintaining relationships across the corporate universe.
Requirements
• Undergraduate degree (MBA not required) and two to five years of relevant work experience, preferably in a corporate commodity sales role;
• Commodity product knowledge;
• Proactive core personality;
• Strong interpersonal relationship management and client service skills;
• Proven analytical skills and a knowledge of finance;
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to engage in concise, effective discussions;
• The ability to assimilate new information quickly and excellent conceptual analytical skills
