Responsibilities::
- Lead the team through the design and development of all associated parts of a market trading system for a top tier investment bank
- Work closely with the traders, quantitative researchers and developers in order to design and implement the software and trading systems solutions
- Intimately involved in the development and design of new a framework to facilitate automated pricing and trading strategies
Requirements:
- Working within an e-trading environment – ideally low latency/high throughput, multithreaded
- Strong understanding of financial markets – ideally a number of asset classes
- Proven ability to work alongside traders to both build out and optimise high performance trading systems.
- Strong experience with FIX Connectivity
- Solid experience in Fidessa platform
- Track record in Equity Derivatives or similar business and associated credibility with desks
- Ability to push back when required and manage expectations
