DIRECTV is currently seeking skilled Field Coordinators to join its Bessemer, AL team.
The Field Coordinator will provide specialized routing and dispatching support for a region. Success in this role will depend upon the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and provide outstanding administrative and customer service support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Identifies opportunities to optimize technician productivity and customer satisfaction through routing efficiencies
- Routes work to technicians and subcontractors through the use of automated and manual systems
- Dynamic Dispatching of current day's work; communicates changes to routes to technicians and customers as needed in real time
- Makes decisions about daily workflow issues and proposes solutions as needed
- Assigns work to technicians and subcontractors in database.
- Prints, groups and labels and verifies work orders for technicians and subcontractors.
- Checking in all work orders on a daily basis
- Filing all work orders and lease agreements
- Managing lease agreement recovery
- Faxes work to remote technicians and subcontractors
- Scrubs future opened work from tech numbers in database
- Closes quota calendars at the assigned time
- Using database, generates, prints and emails route sheets
- Confirming lease agreement and work order signatures and dating
- Equipment Recovery Assistance
- Miscellaneous Data Entry (i.e., QC reports, etc.)
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school graduate or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must have strong computer skills including experience with Windows based PC's and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be willing to go through extensive training process including training in the field as a field technician
