As a result, we currently have an opportunity for Field Project Engineers (Civil Engineer) for a large greenfield mine project – FIFO from point of origin (East Coast). These are key civil project engineering roles and we require proven experience in large heavy industrial projects – coal mining project experience highly desirable. Responsible for coordinating with engineering on constructability and design issues, you will also be involved in on-site project engineering including client liaison, cost control, scheduling and team management. You will also have the proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget with a strong emphasis on quality and client satisfaction. As the successful candidate, you will have:-
- Degree in Engineering (Civil)
- A minimum of eight years as a Project Engineer in EPCM or construction field
- A strong background in mining projects
- Fantastic communication skills
- Experience with Australian engineering standards essential
- RPEQ membership or eligibility
