As a result, we currently have an opportunity for Field Project Engineers (Electrical Engineers) for various mine projects – FIFO from point of origin (East Coast - capital cities preferred). These are key electrical project engineering roles and we require proven experience in large heavy industrial projects – coal, alumina etc project experience highly desirable. Responsible for coordinating with engineering on constructability and design issues, you will also be involved in on-site project engineering including client liaison, cost control, scheduling and team management. You will also have the proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget with a strong emphasis on quality and client satisfaction. As the successful candidate, you will have:-
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical)
- A minimum of eight years as a Project Engineer in EPCM or construction field
- A strong background in mining projects (alumina or coal preferred)
- Fantastic communication skills
- Experience with Australian engineering standards essential
- RPEQ membership or eligibility
- Stable employment background
- Experience working on projects in Australia
