Field Engineer
Genesis10 is currently seeking a number of Field Engineers to support clients. This is a PERMANENT ROLE only with high amounts of travel. It can be located anywhere in the United States, though New York City is a MAJOR plus.
Description:
This client is a is a leading provider of mobile collaboration solutions and Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS). In addition to their own products, they use other firm's products to provide their clients with the best Communications Infrastructure that an ever changing technology environment can deliver.
Must Have Skills:
- Develop,define and then deliver on detailed technical specifications required to implement and integrate Unified Communication Services, with a focus on SIP Product sets
- LINUX Software Deployment
- SIP session setup, management issue resolution and SIP trunk implementation, trouble shooting and support, SIP call flows, SIP spec
- RFC3261 and SIP interoperability experience
- Integration efforts will/may include work with other 3rd party products not limited to Microsoft, Cisco, Avaya as well as a significant amount of SIP trunk integration
- Validate/ test architectures, design solutions and produce subsequent detailed engineering specifications
- Implement solutions based on engineering specification
- Reporting of project status via written completion of reports including regular business metrics
- Experience with Virtualization SolutionNetwork Protocol Expertise
- Database Knowledge, Ideally MySQL or Postgres
- Implementation of Cisco UCM, Avaya CM or similar technologies
- Service Management integration – monitoring and management tools integration and APIs13.Session Border Controller: Acme, Sonus, Sipura
- Ability for 30-50% travel
Major Pluses:
- Familiarity with Security technologies and Media Servers
- SIP Servlet 1.1 and JSR289
- SIP App Server (Ubiquity)
- Java programming or other programming experience
- HTTP Servlet 2.16.BA Degree or Higher
