Field Inspector Job in Shreveport 71101, Louisiana US
Cityside Management, a national real estate management company and prime contractor to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is looking for a field inspector in the following areas Shreveport, LA.
Basic Function
Field Inspectors are responsible for Initial Inspection, Property Condition Report, Routine inspections and minor maintenance of vacant, single family properties throughout multi-state region.
Responsibilities
1. Complete electronic initial inspection reports, property condition reports, and routine inspection reports
2. Use PC or Tablet computer to attach and upload reports to designated websites and shared server
3. Take multiple digital photographs and attach to Word Document
4. Convert Word Document to PDF and upload to designated website
5. 90%-100% travel, including overnight trips
6. Minor maintenance on properties, including, but not limited to, changing locks, boarding windows, removing minor debris, re-securing properties, installing handrails, minor winterizations, cleaning toilets.
7. Responsible for adequate maintenance of all company equipment, including but not limited to, tablet, laptop, phone, and vehicle.
8. Responsible for maintaining adequate levels of required supplies in truck, including but not limited to, anti-freeze, plywood, 2x4 lumber, screws, screw gun, hammer, water buckets, locks.
9. Correspond with field office with any emergency items discovered during Initial and routine inspections.
10. Contact local law enforcement when vandalism is discovered. Provide all required information in order to obtain accurate police report
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
