Field Manager
KeyVault is one of the most advanced key control systems available today. Designed to give dealerships the ability to maintain accountability of keys at all times, we combine extensive reporting features with the latest software to create verifiable audit trails and a level of key control that is unmatched.
This position is responsible for driving and achieving sales goals of the KeyVault product in a specified territory. Your prospect base will include some existing customers for add on sales but the largest portion of the position will be demonstrating products, presenting proposals and closing deals with prospective customers. You will be responsible for developing your own leads though some may be available if you take a territory that has recently been worked.
Training:
The outside sales position starts with a 2 week product training course at our main headquarters in College Station, TX. After training, you may ride with an existing sales rep or regional manager for a few days before you're on your own. You will speak to your regional manager daily and will ride with him every 6-8 weeks or as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent outside sales experience
- Background in institutional sales with a lengthy sales cycle is strongly recommended, but not required (business sales is preferred)
- Ability to travel up to 35%
- Self-motivator, "hunter" mentality, disciplined, aggressive and experience in planning and managing a large sales territory
- Ability to work diligently without direct supervision
- Recent cold-calling experience
- High-end product selling is strongly recommended, but not required
- History of new account commission/documented
- Experience of selling new generation products (manual to automated systems)
- Strong sales techniques, excellent closing and negotiating skills, and record of performance in a very competitive market.
- Looking for a proven sales performer that is interested in bettering his/her income and looking to be a future leader in his/her field.
- Outgoing aggressive individual with good attitude and enthusiastic manner
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Telephone skills and the ability to get to a decision-maker is critical
- The ability to identify problems and provide solutions to satisfy them
- Good equipment demonstration skills and feature/benefit selling skills
- Individual that believes that timing is everything and perception is reality
- Sales training by a well known company
- Computer background
- Goal oriented, coachable, organized and creative
- Able to lift and carry 70 lbs. of demo equipment
