The Westfields Field Office Manager maintains a close working relationship primarily with Raytheon Business Development personnel and other business leaders across Raytheon product lines as well as Raytheon Corporate Staff. The mission of the Chantilly Office is to support the six businesses in their pursuit of new business. The purpose of the Westfields Customer Center is to provide a working location for coordinating Raytheon businesses and product lines pursuing opportunities in the IC and DOD. The Senior Manager?s job is to leverage Chantilly?s location, access and facility to increase Raytheon?s growth in the IC/DoD markets. The manager is responsible for providing support to all in Raytheon who are pursuing business with the U.S Intelligence Community (IC) and the Department of Defense (DoD). The incumbent is responsible for the management and operation of the Westfields Field Office. This office is a classified facility with both unclassified and classified networks and information systems in use. The manager is pivotal in the information flow from Raytheon to the IC and DoD customers and from the IC and DoD back to the Raytheon businesses. Required Skills and Experiences: · Bachelor?s Science, Engineering, Business Management or other related field required · 12+ years of experience in business development · Experience working with the Intelligence Community Agencies and DoD SAP/SAR · Experience working with tactical and strategic ISR systems and technologies · Knowledge of general business principles, strategy development, and extensive experience in the preparation of RFI/RFP responses · Experience in capture and proposal activities, gate reviews, color teams and program execution · Experience in building, managing and networking relationships · Knowledge of IC contractors and the competitive landscape · Knowledge of System Development processes and Capture and Pursuit processes · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Ability to make sound decisions and operate independently · Demonstrated ability to support individual efforts with an enterprise focus Desired Skills and Experiences: · Senior level military experience or equivalent corporate business experience · Experience working across all of Raytheon?s businesses and product lines · Familiarity with IC/DoD security policies, processes, and procedures · Clear thinker with strategic capacity to sift through complex information and focus the organization on the critical few priorities. · Experience leading collaboration across Raytheon to fully leverage capability of business and support functions. · Ability to provide candid feedback that can contribute to Raytheon effectiveness or optimize personal growth. · Ability to travel Raytheon is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran status, or any other protected factor.
