This is a temporary position for a period up to 31 October 2012. The Field Officer position is physically demanding, requiring heavy muscular activity, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling loads, bending, climbing, fire fighting related activities and driving a variety of vehicles.
The applicant must pass the task based fitness assessment to a moderate level within the probationary period (12 months). Field Officer applicants must meet the requirements of a specific medical, inclusive of a clearance to undertake the fire fitness roles. Applicants must obtain 4wd certification within the probationary period (12 months). Certification at the appropriate level is required prior to undertaking fire fighting/incident control duties.Applicants must address the selection criteria and apply online at www.jobs.nsw.gov.au.
