Field Statistics Assistant
A Dubai based public entity has a requirement for a Field Statistics Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable government organisation, dedicated to its staff and members.
This position would suit a graduate in statistics or a junior candidate with 2-3 years’ experience.
The purpose of the role will be to collect, process and analyse data for maintenance of updated databases, essentially the job holder will be responsible for supporting and assisting the data team in providing statistical information.
Responsibilities will include:
• Collecting research and data
• Conduct and following up on surveys
• Maintain updated local and global economic databases of official statistics to be used elsewhere in the business
• Production of regular reports
• Conducting evaluation of data
Essential requirements are; a BS Degree in Statistics, Economics or Finance, advanced user of MS Office and SPSS and proficiency in English with Arabic being an advantage.
