Lone Star Transportation, LLC is seeking an energetic and motivated Bi-Lingual Field Safety Specialist for our Houston, Texas facilities. This exciting and challenging opportunity will primarily work in the field supporting the company safety program.
The successful candidate will have a strong administrative background and knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety (DOT) and OSHA regulations including driver qualifications and selection with criteria, driver logging procedures, accident reporting and investigation, hazardous material handling, and maintenance and inspection procedures. Frequent travel required.
The ideal candidate will:
Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with key customers and drivers
Have the ability to interact well with contractors
Be comfortable providing instruction and delivering safety presentations
Must have verifiable successful transportation experience in the safety field
