OUR CLIENT is a family owned company with 50 years' experience in the distribution of frozen, chilled, butchery, ambient foods and fresh fish. They are looking to expand and need dynamic and driven individuals to help drive the business forward. Customers include schools, colleges, hotels, residential homes, pubs and restaurants.

THE FIELD SALES MANAGER will work with the Business Development managers to maintain, develop and maximise the company customer base, sales revenue, cash margin and profit in accordance with agreed company targets, policy and procedures.

This is an exciting and challenging role focused on opening new business opportunities and developing the product range in the Birmingham area.
• Maintain and develop existing business
• Develop and manage an effective customer contact strategy with store and regional accounts ensuring delivery of the growth potential of accounts and channels.
• Generate new customers within a specific geographical area

THE CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an ambitious and dynamic sales manager who wants to make a name for themselves.
• You will ideally have a food sales background and a passion for food
• You will be dynamic, confident, innovative and have a passion for selling and maximising opportunities
• You will be an excellent communicator with good numeracy skills
• You will live locally to the specified territory
