Field Sales Representative EWR Job in Newark, New Jersey Us
Job Summary: Professionally conduct in person sales visits and follow up phone calls to customers in an assigned geographical region. Maintain existing sales and establish new customers to build market share.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Provide timely, accurate, and relevant service/product related information to our external customers.
2. Conduct in person sales visits.
3. Identify, close, and maintain new business as per Company guidelines
4. Accurately provide verbal and written quotes.
5. Promptly identify and resolve customer problems.
6. Provide professional customer service to all customers.
7. Accurately and promptly enter sales related information into company computer system (STARS).
8. Complete weekly reports as assigned.
9. Perform other sales related duties as assigned.
10. Participate in Company and Department meetings and training programs as required.
11. Adhere to Company policies and business procedures.
12. Work in accordance with the Health and Safety policy, information, instruction and training provided.
Qualifications:
1. Sales experience required
2. Knowledge and understanding of the sales process.
3. Possess excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
4. Basic knowledge of Lotus Notes, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
5. Knowledge of the Newark, NJ/NYC business markets and area preferred.
6. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
7. Ability to travel within a given city or region to conduct sales visits.
8. Ability to compose routine reports and business correspondence.
9. Ability to resolve problems effectively.
10. Ability to work independent of supervision.
