Embarcadero seeks a Field Sales Support Representative for its Field Sales West team. You will be teamed directly with Field Sales Representatives handling high profile, Fortune 500 and state and local government accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Act as key account contact, providing assistance to Field Sales Representatives to ensure high revenues and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Follow-up on downloads, quarterly calls, pricing requests, and marketing leads.
- Quote, process, and manage all sales orders for the territory.
- Create new demand and help implement plans for growth in existing accounts.
- Manage a pipeline.
- Recognize customer business problems and drive resources to address these needs.
- Keep up to date on products, pricing, and licensing by attending regularly scheduled training sessions.
- Develop and execute a prospecting methodology to acquire net new accounts and organizations for the Company’s install base.
- Prospecting, cold calling, and up selling/cross selling required.
- Account management includes running reports and assisting with customer issues.
Requirements:
- Must be organized and detail oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Outstanding interpersonal and oral and written communication skills required.
- Must have excellent customer service and follow through skills.
- Telemarketing skills, including cold calling, a plus.
- Ability to understand the business and technology needs of an organization.
- Must have positive, can-do attitude and be a team player.
- Functional knowledge of the following Microsoft tools: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Salesforce knowledge and experience is a plus.
