Role Summary/Purpose

Purpose of the job is to provide a complete service to the installed base with regards to the assigned territory (East Austria/Vienna Area), working closely with the local Life Sciences Service Team of Austria/South Germany/Switzerland reporting to the Service Manager.

Essential Responsibilities

- Fault troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install instruments/systems in the defined territory. Execute Preventive Maintenance and small repair on Chromatography systems.
- Carry out service visits according the existing service agreements, procedure and customer planning.
- Provide advise on use of instruments to the customer
- Control of spare parts usage and inventory within set targets
- Make record of carried out service visits
- Work within the guide lines of ISO 9001:2000 procedures
- Work within company policies and guidelines (Spirit Letter, EHS)
- Complete allocated e-learning programs related to the job.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education:- Appropriate technical education in electronics or equivalent experienceExperience:- Experience as service engineer would be an asset in Life Sciences and GxP environmentsSkills:- Excellent knowledge of local language (German) and good in English- Good PC-Skills, Microsoft software- Driving license- Good communication skills- Service oriented- Self-motivated- Team-oriented
