Job Description:
Beckman Coulter has an immediate need for a Field Service Engineer position in McAllen, Texas. This person will install and maintain Beckman Coulter CHEMISTRY instrumentation and systems in a laboratory environment within a defined territory of Southern Texas.
Qualifications/Competencies:
· 3-5 years diagnostic laboratory and/or biomedical experience a plus
· Medical Technologist with chemistry knowledge desired
· Technical degree or military experience a plus, bachelor´s degree preferred.
· Occasionally requires extended workweek and weekend/after-hours beeper duty to service instruments
· May require extended travel on short notice—Up to 70% travel
· Must have valid driver´s license and meet Beckman Coulter safe driver criteria.
