Job Location Fort Walton Beach Florida
Title: Engineer III Field Service
Position Summary: Support all Field Service activities. Setup and support demonstrations. Support DRS equipment in operating environments at depots, training sites, and customer field operations with training, operation or repair. To have the ability to lead a technical group independently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support all Field Service activities
- Setup and support demonstrations
- Support DRS equipment in operating environments at depots, training sites, and customer field operations with training, operation or repair
- Ability to lead a technical group independently
- Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required
- Participates in preparation of proposals
- Provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel
- Lead and direct the work of others as assigned
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Basic Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluency in technologies and application domain
- Willing and able to travel locally, nationally, and internationally; must have or be able to obtain a US Passport
- This position requires an active Security Clearance
Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:
- US military background is desired
- Experience with DOORS or similar requirements tracking tool
- Demonstrated customer service background
- Established track record as self-starter
