Field Service Manager

Hydratight is currently seeking a Field Service Manager for our Gonzales, LA location.Field Service Managers are responsible for managing service projects in refining, petrochemical and power plants. Their primary focus is project planning, mobilization and coordination of manpower and equipment for planned projects, turnarounds, and new construction as well as customers' routine and non-planned emergent work. They are Hydratight's customer service liaisons and work closely with members of the sales team to maintain customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Liaise with all internal departments re: assets, customer relations, invoicing, etc.
- Assist in resolving Service related invoicing/payment issues.
- Work with Operations Manager and HR Department to handle disciplinary issues
- Work with training department on training and assessments
- Assign qualified techs too service jobs
- Be on a rotating on-call schedule for service work
- See assigned service projects through start to finish
- Conduct attend weekly field service meetings
- Review Quotes and Prior to Job Commencement
- Complete all necessary paperwork and communicate with SHEQ department on any incidents
- Perform Job Walks on Technical Projects
- Monitoring and Purchasing Consumable Equipment as Needed
- Auditing Quality Documents returned from Site
- Ensuring Conformance of ISO- Quality, Safety, and Training Documents.
- Supports the measurement systems to assure accuracy of management information for the strategic management of the manpower utilization and project manloads.
- Assist in tracking and monitoring availability of competent manpower and equipment.
- General duties as required, including but not limited to, data entry, preparing and sending correspondence, scheduling and coordination of meetings, booking travel for field service technicians, purchase of field service supplies, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years experience in a management/supervisory role or high school equivalent plus 6-8 years field service managerial role
- Experience in and understanding of field service job mobilization procedures
- Experience in and ability to manage employee relations issues
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office programs knowledge; Ability to create and edit advanced spreadsheets, presentations, etc.
- Availability during weekends should customer emergencies arise
- Demonstrated track record of proactive problem solving ability
- Preferred eperience with continuous improvement concepts
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
