FIELD SERVICE MECHANIC

Heavy Construction Equipment Dealer in Northern California specializing in excavators, wheel loaders, and material handlers is seeking experienced field mechanics for the Sacramento Area that meet the following criteria:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Minimum of 3 years industry or other applicable related experience.
- Capable of completing all jobs at or under manufacturers published flat rate repair times.
- Capable of training as well as supervising other technicians or multiple jobs
- Capable of conducting training classes for customers or other employees as required.
- Capable of working in the field without direct supervision as well as a demonstrated ability to apply training in the field environment
- Accurately completes and submits all paper work immediately upon completion of a repair.
- Able to interact with customers and communicate recommended course of action to result in the most efficient repair practices.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Must possess all tools required for standard equipment maintenance and repairs
- Clean driving record
- Work is located in shop setting or job site locations
- Ability to work with and around hazardous materials
- Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and listening skills
- Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
