We are currently looking for a Field Service Specialist, located in Houston, TX, to support the existing customer base and grow Honeywell market share in our Central Southern Region.
 
Position Responsibilities:

• Perform the annual and semi-annual preventive maintenance for all Honeywell Analytics equipment.
• Manage and maintain all associated Life Safety System documentation and historical data
• Conduct a monthly walk-through of all Honeywell Analytics equipment and correct all discrepancies
• Flow check all extractive monitoring equipment
• Manage consumable orders and supplies for Life Safety Equipment
• Generate monthly service reports that outline and itemize all costs not included with the annual fee, and technical details including device configurations
• Manage parts for all Honeywell Analytics equipment
• Calibrate gas detection equipment and manage all associated tools
• Perform the check-out and commissioning of all new Honeywell Analytics TGM detection
• Provide support for all Honeywell Analytics TGM corrective maintenance activities
• Provide support for the design of all Honeywell Analytics TGM infrastructures to include networking, gas detection, relay, digital input, and equipment layout
• Review all tool install packages to determine the need for TGM monitoring
• Coordinate and perform TGM functional testing
• Perform all TGM functional programming
• Perform all visualization updates
• Interact with the customer serving Honeywell Analytics interests professionally and thoroughly.
 

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 year Associate Degree in electronics or related military training in electronics or electromechanical systems
• 4 years experience with electronic systems

Additional Qualifications:

• Familiarization working with control systems for industrial and/or commercial facilities
• 2 years of experience within the multiple disciplines of Chemistry, Electronics, Power Distribution, Mechanics, and Pneumatics
• An understanding of EHS code requirements including NFPA and OSHA
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent communication facilitation skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to quickly set priorities drive to completion
• Minimal travel associated with the position primarily for training purposes
• Experienced in generating electrical drawings using Cad - preferred
• An understanding of semiconductor processes, to include a focus on facilities interaction and HPM distribution
• Familiarization with NIOSH
