SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for customer satisfaction while performing technical electronic service in the field for various types of Electronic Gaming Machines, Oasis Hardware and related products. Must be committed to the mission and principles of the Aristocrat and the Customer Service organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Install, convert, troubleshoot, repair and/or de-install as necessary Gaming Machines, Recurring Revenue Controllers, Signs, Meters, and OASIS Hardware.
•Must be able to travel with little or no notice, must be able to travel on any day of the week, potential extended periods and must be able to travel by air.
•Must be willing to work extended hours, work any shift, on-call for dispatch and variable work shifts
•Must be able to obtain gaming licenses in our approved jurisdictions, a Passport were applicable, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
•Provide direct customer support for training, parts purchasing advice and preventative maintenance programs.
•Provide assistance to customers by telephone or in person regarding technical challenges and reports on trends, needs and challenges to keep management informed.
•Promote and position Aristocrat, Inc. as a high performance, world-class, manufacturing, sales, and service organization.
•Responsible for the coordination of all installations and visitation schedules in conjunction with the Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor, and Service Delivery Coordinator in geographic territory.
•Develop, implement and monitor training programs for assigned customers.
•Maintain inventory accuracy and follow proper parts inventory programs for customer accounts and for assigned service van or office.
•Liaison with customer representatives and management regarding product performance, service scheduling, training and operational issues.
•Adhere to technical and management escalation guidelines established by customer service.
•Gather and report accurately on service activities by utilizing field service management reporting tools.
•Individual should have strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management.
•Must be able to follow direction when given a task from Senior Field Service Technician or designee in charge of install
•Build Customer Advocacy for Aristocrat Products and Service by setting the standard in the gaming industry.
•Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. An Associate degree in Electronics or its equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Requires three to five years of related experience. Previous experience in the gaming industry preferred.
Certifications:
•Must be able to complete ATI Master Certification for games within 180 days of hire
•Maintain or achieve ATI Master Certification on new product releases or internal programs within a directed time period.
•Successfully completing professional training courses or industry certifications, if applicable.
Skills, knowledge, and qualifications:
•Working knowledge of digital electronics preferred.
•Must possess good problem resolution skills.
•Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
•Must have strong communication skills, be able to work independently and be team oriented.
•Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
•Must be able to obtain and maintain gaming licenses in all approved jurisdictions, a Passport where applicable, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
