Job Description
ADVEnt Cable Services, part of one of the nation’s largest providers of installation services to the telecommunications industry, is seeking experienced TRIPLE PLAY Field Service Technicians for their Louisville, Kentucky location! In this role, you will travel to customer locations to install, maintain or repair video, broadband and/or telephone services. This is an excellent opportunity for any industrious Technician who wants to take control of their earnings! ADVEnt even provides it’s Field Service Technicians with a $1200 bonus within your 1st four months of employment as well as $1000 relocation assistance if you’re coming into the role with a year or more of experience!

Job Responsibilities
As a Field Service Technician, you will set up our service for customers – installing, connecting, testing and/or adjusting equipment by accessing specific areas at customer locations. This may include climbing poles and ladders or entering tunnels or crawlspaces to perform required electrical procedures.
Additional responsibilities for the Field Service Technician include:
· Installing lines from the tap to the house
· Performing correct and neat work inside the customers’ premises
· Following instructions specified on work orders
· Demonstrating all equipment and services to the customer upon install completion
· Being completely dedicated to outstanding customer service!

Job Requirements
As a Field Service Technician for ADVEnt, you must have good verbal and interpersonal communication skills as you will be meeting new customers on a daily basis. You must also be punctual, focused and efficient throughout your workday.
Additional requirements of the Field Service Technician include:
· Minimum 1 year of experience installing video, broadband and/or telephone services
· Ability to perform various acts of physical labor, including lifting 50 pounds
· Ability to pass a background and motor vehicle records check as well as a drug screening
