Field Engineer - Advanced Radio Products (QLD)
Our client is a dynamic Australian owned international organisation that specialises in sophisticated communications systems. Their success has led to the need to engage an additional Field Engineer for their busy service and repair department based in Mt Isa. The position entails regular travel throughout Australia and occasional short international assignments.
Working with the most technologically advanced products in the world you will join a tight-knit team that will provide you with development, training and support. You will be responsible for installation, inspection, test and repair of systems. The customer is looking for hard-working and productive individuals who are looking to build a career within their organisation. The successful applicant will have the following:
- Tertiary or trade qualifications in electronics and or Telecommunications essential
- Experience with VHF, UHF and 802.11 systems
- Installation and maintenance of radio equipment
- Fibre optic systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to organise your work schedules to achieve maximum productivity
- Ability to integrate with a close-knit multi-disciplinary team
- Ability and willingness to travel
