Role Summary/Purpose
Essential Responsibilities
Routine monitoring of key controlled parameters
Visual corrosion and fouling monitoring
Annual Integrity Analysis for tower lumber structure
Analysis of water pipeline deposit upon each plant shutdown
Relative Population Density Test at least once a month and as needed
Weekly TBC Tests
In the event of high turbidity or microbiological count, conduct aggressive treatment, perform brushing of wooden structures and vacuuming
Turn-around inspection and cleaning of cooling tower basin including monitoring and reporting of scale build-up on tower fills
Regular vacuuming of cooling tower basins at least three (3) times a week and as needed
Submit reports to the Company related to water chemistry as well as technical testing, analysis, inspection, and deposit reports, including treatment program performance and personnel safety
On-site testing and analysis of processed water and steam at least three (3) times a week
Dosing and feeding of chemicals at least five (5) days per week to meet the required parameters of the KPIs
Qualifications/Requirements
College graduate, preferably BS Chemical Engineering, with five (5) years qualified experience in treating geothermal power plant cooling water and HVAC water systems.
