Field Service Technician Job

·        Responsible for all aspects of set up and start up procedures

·        Effectively communicate installation/service status with the Service Coordinator

·        Perform a detailed functionality test of the mechanical and electrical systems

·        Upon start up review the project with authorized customer representative during the sign off phase

·        Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts and detailed plans

·        Conducts on –site customer training including proper operational and equipment maintenance

·        Communicate effectively with Wheelabrator Plus to ensure project is transferred accordingly

·        Prepares reports or analysis of product failure trends and service issues

·        Trouble shoot and debug (mechanical and electrical)

·        Coordinate outside contractors to perform warranty work as required

·        Field customer service calls about service or warranty issues as required

·        Responsible for adhering to safety standards and reporting any unsafe conditions immediately

·        Identify and escalate ideas for improvement (cost/time reduction etc.)

·        Establish and maintain good relationships with customers, vendors and Wheelabrator staff
