Automotive Field Service Technician

This is a challenging role, offering you the opportunity to build a rewarding career with a leading oil and gas service organization.

You will be responsible for the installation of equipment (GPS and Modems) in Oil and Gas Service vehicles. This is an ideal for an individual looking to be out on the road and not interested in being stuck in an office. Experience in the technical Oil Gas industry or in a previous Field Service role with electrical systems in heavy duty vehicles will be the key to success in this role.  

 

Candidate Profile:

You are a leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills wanting to have a direct impact on the continued growth and success of the company.  Strong technical abilities and understanding is necessary. The ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable under a vehicle and likes to get their hands dirty.  You will be familiar with the latest advancements in automotive electrical systems. Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot wiring and electrical issues in a dashboard of a heavy duty vehicle is a must.  Education as an Automotive Service Technician coupled with a solid knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry is considered an asset. This position requires an individual willing to travel within Alberta and has a reliable vehicle to work in the field.  Our client will pay mileage and supply a gas card.
