MECCO Marking Traceability, a manufacturer of marking equipment located in Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking a Field Service Technician.

Position Summary: The qualified candidate will be responsible for the service and installation of our laser marking and dot peen marking equipment. Equipment includes OEM markings systems and automated work cells.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair units to original specifications
· Provide detailed service reports
· Prepare service quotations for spare parts and labor
· Support customers sales with technical questions; write technical documents and drawings, etc.
· Travel required which may include short notice travel to customer’s facility
Requirements include:
· Strong electrical and mechanical experience is a must
· Laser experience is preferred
· Must be able to read schematics
· Experience using volt meters, oscilloscopes and other electrical equipment
· PLC programming a plus
· Electronics degree and/or equivalent experience
· Must be highly motivated and possess good organizational and communication skills
· Valid passport for international travel
· Valid driver’s license
