Role Synopsis
 
Baker Hughes, is currently seeking a Field Specialist - Fluid Technician, based in the Williston area to work on an on call basis performing various duties associated with the mixing of Baker Hughes Pressure Pumping products, and monitoring and testing of fluids and levels. The shift for this position will include on call status/hours.
 
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
 
·         responsible for mixing of products, monitoring and testing fluids and levels throughout a job
·         interface with customer on location concerning all quality control requirements
·         monitor the rates, volumes and gather samples for customer to ensure proper fluid appearance during treatment
·         verify that mixing waters are adequate for proper performance of products and conducts tests that are needed and calculate any necessary modifications
·         follow all safety standards and prepare products according to the proper and accepted procedures
·         running emulsion and compatibility test for fracturing jobs ·  
 
Basic Qualifications
 
·         minimum of a GED required for this position required
·         3 years of experience working in the oil field industry
·         basic knowledge of pumping services desired

 
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
 
·         college courses in math and/or chemistry preferred
·         AS degree or higher education preferred
 
Other Details
 
·         ability to work an on-call schedule
ability to perform duties in various sometimes harsh outdoor weather conditions required
