Field Technician

Broadview Networks is currently searching for a Field Technician to work in the DC / Maryland area.
Job Description:
· Work onsite at various customer sites throughout the NY Metro area.
· Performs repairs, installations, troubleshoots, terminates service and tests various voice and data circuits.
· Complete installation and work order documentation.
· Adheres to quality control guidelines for all installations.
· Provide Project Management functions as needed.
· Perform site surveys and evaluations as needed.
· Demonstrates good customer relations when on a customer premise
Requirements:
· Experience with SONET, DS3, DS1 and POTS services, collocation equipment (muxes, DSLAMs, Lucent and Nortel products).
· Experience with DSL and VoIP background a plus.
· Ability to use a Simpson or Sidekick meter, DS3/DS1 Test Set, Power Meter.
· Good computer skills a must.
· Clean driving record.
