JOB SUMMARY:
Job Title: Field Trainer
Department: Sales Operations
Reports To: Field Training Manager
Position Summary:
This position provides function-specific, multi level staff training which can range from product knowledge, systems administration, policies and procedures to new and current members of the PHSP Marketing and Medicare Sales staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* The Trainer is the first source of job related information and is required to train/teach product, process, and policy information at the onset of the hiring process and on a continuous need basis to help current Healthfirst employees stay abreast of evolving information and improve the quality and effectiveness of marketing and sales. Traveling to various HF locations maybe required to administer training. Must demonstrate a strong understanding of the training materials and be able to facilitate the material in a manner that facilitates employee development. Must pass all pre-employment and post employment exams.
* The Trainer is required to interpret product, procedural, and regulatory information and assist with the development of training curricula to support those field products, services and regulatory compliance skills. The trainer is required to dissect sometimes complex information and create user friendly training material to be taught at varied levels and learning styles to staff members of all levels throughout the organization.
* Trainers are required to aid in increasing individual and team effectiveness by creating and distributing training resources, learning aids and process documentation to learners. The trainer should have the ability to create learning tools that can be referenced, and understood while in the field, and away from the classroom setting. Ensure that all needed audio-visual equipment is available and set up for training programs. Maintain records on training program attendance, programs offered and utilization levels;maintain records on training evaluation measures. Must be skilled in operating various types of office equipment including computers, photocopiers and faxmachines. Prepare various reports and correspondence.
* Trainers are required to work with colleagues across departments such as enrollment and regulatory compliance to ensure process and procedural changes are understood and interpreted appropriately before communications can be forwarded to field staff. Trainers must work with colleagues to ensure information is accurate and communicated to the field staff in a timely fashion.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
* Trainers are required to participate in any training related project as scheduled or otherwise directed, by the Director of Training. They are required to provide viable input to all projects and use their expertise to ensure all assignments are completed with quality and accuracy.
Education Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Conditions of Employment:
Employee must pass pre-employment screening which includes a background check and drug testing. Employee must present documentation to verify minimum of high school educational requirement.
