This listed mid-tier mining company boasts valuable assets and projects going from strength to strength. Their finance team has recently expanded and they currently have a successful team in place both across their sites and within their West Perth Head Office. As a final piece of recruitment, they are offering a Site Accounting role focusing on one of their larger projects in the Goldfields.
Working closely with the General Manager on-site and the Senior Accountant in Perth, you will be a pivotal part of site operations by managing finances and improving efficiency. In addition to monthly reporting and analysis you will manage site based costs, produce budgets, forecasts, inventory models, waste deferral calculations, stockpile reconciliations, and monitor contractor rise fall. As an additional element to your role, you will also have the opportunity to be involved with some merger and acquisition accounting.
This is a responsible role which will require someone with previous experience in a similar capacity. The ability to look at the bigger picture, work in a project environment and add value by improving systems / procedures on-site will see you succeed in this position. Experience using Pronto will be highly advantageous.
