FIG Analyst Investment Banking Singapore recruitment
My client is a well renowned investment bank with offices throughout the world''s major financial centres and they are looking for a talented Analyst 2 or 3 to join their Financial Institutions Group MA Team in Singapore.
Based in Singapore, our client is one of the region''s leading institution in terms of investment and development, offering services including MA, capital markets origination and execution and equity fixed income trading. Their commitment to growth is reflected in the high profile MD hires already made from their competitors in the region. Our client also cover the entire APAC region including South East Asia, North east Asia / North Asia as well as the Middle East.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- At least 1 year+ FIG MA / Capital Markets investment banking experience either from a Bulge Bracket Bank, Tier 1 institution or a reputable boutique.
- Strong, prior sector experience in FIG (MA / Capital Markets)
- Covered predominantly banks and also one sub sector notably insurance, securities, asset management.
- A South East Asian background OR exposure to the South Asian FIG market (ideally) i.e. Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Australia and Brunei. This would facilitate relationship building with SEA clients (and eventually becoming a relationship manager for those clients)
- Excellent valuation, financial and analytical skills.
- Motivation to work in work and live in Singapore (a regime with less than 15% tax!).
- Language skills - Must be fluent in English. Business Mandarin / one South East Asian language would be ideal but not a prerequisite.
