The Role

You will join a small team of RM FIG managers in Singapore as a VP or Director
Expanding, developing and building an efficient network of investors in the Asian region (banks, financial institutions, investors) for distribution of Trade Finance and Cash Management Products
Building and maintaining relationships, originating and structuring transactions with South Asian FI’s covering various products across trade, debt securities issuances and managing banking relationships
Liaising with Treasury, Capital Markets, Credit and Research teams to effectively pursue all-inclusive relationship building, maximising the product suite for the bank and cross selling products
Working with the bank’s core products in Trade Export Finance, Syndicated Loans, Treasury and Cash Management as well as legal and credit
Originations of new relationships and expansion of existing long-standing close relationships with local banks in Asia particularly Indonesia/ Thailand/ Vietnam/ Malaysia/ India and Sri Lanka

The Candidate

Essential to have experience as an AD or VP level or Director level FIG Relationship manager covering SEA clients
Focus of the business is predominantly trade finance/ cash management/ trade sales and treasury functions
Essential to have a strong portfolio of FIG clients especially local banks/ investors and asset managers
My client will not consider anyone without Asia experience but could consider a strong RM with contacts in China
This is not a corporate banking role it is a FIG Relationship Manager role
My client is particularly keen to see candidates with a strong understanding of Asian trade, trade finance, trade sales and a commercial awareness of trade finance
