Responsible for setting up, operating and monitoring fill equipment per Standard Operating Procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices. Must be knowledgeable of and practice good aseptic technique to minimize potential for product contamination.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
•Practices aseptic technique at all times while working in aseptic areas.
•Complies with current SOP's and cGMPs
•Maintains aseptic gowning requirements
•Sets up and adjusts filling equipment settings to meet process parameters.
•Safely operates filling equipment and troubleshoots problems to ensure process parameters are met throughout the run.
•Documents work accurately and timely
•Cleans and sanitizes fill equipment and aseptic area per SOP.
•Unloads ovens and autoclaves when cycles are completed and verified.
•Reconciles components and product
•Loads, cleans and unloads lyophilizers as required
•Other duties as directed by Supervisor
KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent
1-2 years pharmaceutical experience preferred; aseptic experience strongly preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude
Experience reading loading diagrams preferred
INITIATIVE INGENUITY
Follows SOP's for each functional area and adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices. Ability to learn and operate production machines/equipment. Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
Ability to lift 30 lbs. - 75%. Must have good hand/eye coordination in order to safely operate equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
-prefer an associate degree or technical school experience.
The qualified candidate needs to have experience from the food manufacturing industry or pharmaceutical industry. NEED to be someone who is familiar with FDA compliance.
-Comfortable with basic computer skills.
Must work well in a team environment.
Positions requires for standing for long period of time (up to 4 hours at a time).
-Shifts 12 hours (5:45pm - 5:45am)
