FILLING OPERATORS NEEDED IN SOUTH HOLLAND, IL
This entry level position of Filling Operator is to fill the approved customer product into containers and package for shipment. The role varies from plant to plant, dependent upon batch size and container fill. An Operator may work as part of a filling crew on a line or work independently. 1. Follows instructions on proper procedures to complete Fill-Info sheet 2. Follows instructions on proper procedures to complete Batch Finalization document 3. Follows instructions on proper procedures to complete Batch Tracking log 4. Under direction of senior fillers individual will complete Customer Purchase Order information 5. Follows instructions on proper procedures to complete Packaging Inventory log 1. Under the direction of a senior filling operator will manually clean pumps, tanks, valves and all associated parts related to breakdown and assembly of filling equipment and maintain cleanliness of area. 2. Assist a senior operate high-speed mixers for the purpose of mixing batches prior to filling. 3. Receive training on how to read and understand written filling instructions and follow specific procedures related to customer specifications and maintain log sheets for daily entries. Assist operators with filling projects. 4. Under the direction of a senior filler, will work with filling and other operators in order to expedite priority batches for shipment. 5. Follow all E,HS regulations and guidelines. 6. Under the direction of a senior filling operator will be responsible for the stenciling and labeling of all filled containers to customer specifications. 7. Responsible for the packaging of any co-ship sample. 8. Actively participate in SMART and other safety programs.
