An exiting opportunity has arisen for a Film Buyer to join our Film Buying team. As a film buyer you will provide Cineworld with the best film product available ensuring the right films are screened at the right times in the right cinemas working closely with the Film Distributors such as Paramount and Warner bros to ensure you negotiate Cineworld the best terms.

You will be based in our Head Office in Chiswick, London ; conveniently located next to Gunnersbury tube station on the District Line and 5 minutes from the end of the M4.

As our Film Buyer you will:

• Liaise with our film distributors and cinemas to ensure we are organising and scheduling our films both commercially and correctly.
• Ensure all information is accurately recorded on our systems
• Analyse all box office and film data
• Monitor and analyse competitor information
• Organise and plan events and specials
• View films and assess their commerciality

Key requirements include:

• Passion and knowledge of film and cinema
• Influencing and negotiation skills
• Strong excel spreadsheet skills
• Attention to detail and high numerical capability
• Ability to build strong people relationships
• Good understanding of business
• Results driven, numerate and commercially
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
