Film/TV Fund Accountant recruitment
They are looking for a Newly Qualified Accountant to work as a Fund Accountant. This is a fantastic role and due to the small size of the company, you will get direct exposure to the investments and the deal making team. The responsibilities of the role include:
- Preparation of quarterly fund financial statements and preparation of year end audited fund financial statements, liaising with the auditors
- Quarter end valuations for Portfolio investments, quarterly, monthly reconciliations
- Account for fund activities including investments, expenses, valuations, capital calls and distributions
- Deal with queries in respect of Fund activity, portfolio company financial information, including fund investment information, investor information and quarterly fund activities.
The ideal candidate will be Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent and from an audit background. Previous Private Equity/Investment Management experience is not essential but would be an advantage. Candidates must have a strong interest in this industry though. Due to the high profile nature of the role, excellent communication skills are vital.
