This start-up position is a key part of their foray into Asia, for which we seek a dynamic and capable Accountant with an entrepreneurial spirit to join the Company at an exciting time of growth.
Job Description
This individual-contributor Finance Manager role will see you look after all areas of the Accounting and Administration function – from setting up the chart of accounts, to being “hands on” with all aspects of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Ad hoc projects. This includes:
- Set up of the Accounting system
- Local and Overseas reporting
- Preparation of timely and accurate Financial Statements
- Production of insightful Management Reports, including commentary
- Processing of Accounts Payable / Receivable, Payroll and general office management
The Successful Applicant
You will be a highly motivated, articulate and friendly Accountant comfortable with a diverse role covering both Accounting and Administration, whilst working closely with the Chief Executive and other high-intellect stakeholders. You will posses:
- Accounting degree from a leading University, followed by relevant professional qualifications (CPA/CA/ACCA)
- Experienced in preparing both Financial Management Accounts, including overseas offices (US-GAAP preferred, with IFRS knowledge important)
- Excellent communication skills, initiative, the ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently is essential
