FINANCE ANALYST
My client is an internationally recognised law firm, who have grown both organically and through multiple acquisitions over the past 20 years. To further drive their commercialness and productivity as a firm, they have created a new position within their finance team for a Finance Analyst who will play an important role in providing the finance function with financial support around their key, and high profile, projects.
This is an exciting Financial Analyst position which will give you a high level of commercial exposure. The position will be focused on the production, review and analysis around board and management reports, and the provision of analysis around performance and profitability that will further help to drive the firm. Not only will you be expected to challenge and support commercial decisions with your findings, but the Finance Director will rely on your ability to develop and provide insightful reports on the costs and benefits being delivered.
In this capacity you will work alongside a wide range of senior stakeholders including Finance Directors, Partners and clients. This will mean that you will need to be confident in your ability to support them and challenge them. When developing reports and budgets, your challenge will come in looking at how you identify the results from specific projects and differentiate it from business as usual.
This is a high profile opportunity in the business that links Finance and Management teams with the key projects that will help the business grow further and is a fantastic opportunity for a bright and up and coming candidate who is looking to gain experience within a globally recognised and respected firm.
My client is looking for a newly qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who has extensive experience with dealing with a range of senior stakeholders. You will have excellent excel skills and be confident, articulate and able to work autonomously to an exceptional standard, due to the high profile reporting that you will be producing. This is a contract role for 6 months and will only consider candidates who are available at short notice.
