Finance Analyst / Business Analyst recruitment

Management Accountants (ACCA or ACA or CIMA) with strong Management Reporting expertise gained in banking or Financial Services, who are looking to get more involved in a Business Anaysis role with some exposure to the IT systems must apply!

We are looking to help train and support your move from the accounting function to a more Business Analysis and Systems analysis role working closely with the IT and systems development team of a leading Investment Bank in London. 

Everest is a vendor application used for consolidating Credit assets from various source system applications and management reporting.- Supporting CARAT (Credit At Risk Application sysTem) data loads, data mapping, and data transformations and data extracts- Support and Train business users on Everest- Document business requirements for new / amendments to reports and interfaces from CARAT to downstream systems- Adhere to "Business Analyst Procedures" and "IT Development Guidelines" at all times.- Develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders (Front Office, Back Office, Financial Control, Risk, Regulatory, Compliance, I.T, other  group departments) - Work effectively with all stakeholders to produce best business performance outcomes- Create and maintain a strong and productive business relationship between the Bank and the Everest vendor. Qualification and Experience* Minimum 2-3 years Banking Experience in Management reporting/Credit Risk Reporting OR Regulatory reporting.* Experience of management information reporting around the lending business from front office to financial control, credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk and regulatory capital. * Widely varied asset class expertise (Syndicated Loans, Residential Mortgages, Bonds, Asset Backed Securities, Customer Deposits, Bilateral/Commercial Loans, Asset Leases).* Understanding of data warehousing concepts and business intelligence tools. Preferred Qualification/Knowledge:* Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA or equivalent)*  Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Tools,* ITIL qualified (not mandatory) Skills and how they are applied* SQL: Basic SQL writing skills on various database servers would go a long way in performing day to day support of the CARAT application. * Documentation: The key skill is to produce the logical business analysis documents in support of various user requirements and system procedures. * Analytical: ability to arrive ay solutions that fit current or future business processes.* Effective writing and verbal communication* Organisational skills: Ability to manage and co-ordinate resources for solution delivery.* Developing business relationships for effective solution and opportunity delivery
