Finance Analyst / Finance Accountant recruitment

Human Resource Shared Services (HRSS) is the operational engine room of HR providing support to existing employees, line managers, applicants and pensioners on a wide range of core operational and transactional services such as payroll and benefits administration, pensions, resourcing (including pre-employment screening), and learning.  HRSS is one of seven departments that form part of the HR Chief Administration Office within Group Human Resources at The Royal Bank of Scotland. 

You will be required to take full responsibility for month end processes including review challenge of Financials and production of Management Reports.  By establishing close working relationships with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation, you will contribute to and influence the decision making process, through the provision of timely, reliable, and informative financial information and advice to HRSS.

Ideally you will be a part or newly qualified accountant with sound experience in financial control, including month end, year end, budgets and accruals.  You will be a confident individual with substantial customer contact experience and a proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.  You should also have a strong desire to influence the decision making process.
