Finance Analyst/ Modelling Manager (Property)

An exciting opportunity to drive success with a international property consultancy. This opportunity will involve high autonomy as the successful candidate is tasked with utilising previous experience to drive business improvement by partnering with senior stakeholders.

The role requires high level competency on excel with the main purpose being delivery of financial analysis/modelling services to improve client returns on property development.

Key Responsibilities / Duties
· Undertake development appraisals for a range of residential and commercial schemes
· Prepare financial models for private and affordable residential long term ownership and wider investments (e.g. renewables)
· Brief and drive design / project teams to improve the financial performance of planned development
· Prepare toolkit and bespoke appraisals to support affordable housing negotiations within the planning process
· Prepare impact assessments and cost / benefit appraisals for projects, programmes and in relation to issues such as proposed regulatory change

Candidate Profile

· Qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA, ACA
· Excellent financial modelling skills and ability to build models
· Able to calculate and interpret key financial performance measures
· Able to interpret and question cost, value, programme, design and technical input information received from other consultants
