Finance Analyst - Regulatory Reporting / London / Contract £200/day
A leading Investment bank is seeking an individual who has a year to 18 months experience in Financial Services to join their Regulatory Reporting team to prepare the monthly, quarterly and biannual returns for the bank. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into a role which is in high demand across all IBs and will provide a lot of transferable skills
Responsibilities
• Daily monitoring and preparation of capital adequacy and large exposures reports for all entities in the IB
• Interpretation of the Regulatory rules which forms the basis of FSA of FSA reporting and providing regulatory guidance to the business
• Interpretation of Basel II rules
• Preparation of the monthly, quarterly and biannual returns
Requirements
• Ideally a part-qualified accountant
• Strong Academic background - degree qualification
• Accounting and finance knowledge essential, preferably from a Regulatory environment.
• Investment product knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
